The City of Kansas City, Missouri is hosting a public meeting to discuss changes to the traffic flow on East 46th Street from Main Street to Walnut Street.

With the KC Streetcar Main Street Extension under construction, upcoming changes to Main Street will affect neighbors near East 46th Street and Main Street. Drivers heading south on Main Street will no longer be able to turn left onto East 46th Street after construction of the new alignment is complete.

The City heard concerns from neighbors that their access will be limited, especially with the existing one-way street at a recent KC Streetcar Main Street Extension Main Street Meet Up. Because of this, the City is hosting a public meeting to discuss East 46th Street converting to a two-way street between Main Street and Walnut Street.
