Public Attends Open House

KC Streetcar hosted a public meeting on Wednesday, March 30, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Drexel Hall. The meeting followed an “open house” format to share information related to the upcoming construction of the KC Streetcar Main Street Extension.

More than 110 business owners and residents attended. Community members had the opportunity to learn about anticipated construction timelines, the design process, review renderings of what the future streetcar stops will look like, and ask questions to members of the project team. A roll plot map was also available allowing attendees to view all the details of what Main Street will look like once the KC Streetcar is ready to ride in 2025!

You can view all of the information provided here.

Want to be a part of history? The KC Streetcar Main Street Extension is officially breaking ground at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6 at the corner of Pershing Road and Main Street. Hope to see you there!
