KC Streetcar Constructors to Move Rail For Track Construction
KC Streetcar Constructors will pull 800 feet of rail from the rail staging area at 27th Street and Grand Boulevard into the existing traffic control on the west side of Main Street near 36th Street.
Crews will work in the early morning hours of Friday, January 20 to minimize traffic impacts.
KC Streetcar Constructors to Move Rail for Track Construction
KC Streetcar Constructors will pull 800 feet of rail from the rail staging area at 27th Street and Grand Boulevard. The rail will be pulled into the existing traffic control on the west side of Main Street near 36th Street. This work will be performed in the early morning hours for the safety of all and to limit disruptions to the traveling public.
New Year, New Rail!
The remaining rail needed for the southern half of the Main Street Extension started arriving on Monday, January 9, with delivery continuing for approximately the next two weeks, weather permitting.
Northbound lanes of Brookside Boulevard closed from 49th Street to 51st Street for rail delivery and welding.
